Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PABiH, Dr Dragan Čović, Meets with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia in Zagreb

The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr Dragan Čović, held a meeting today in Zagreb with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlić Radman, and his associates.

They discussed the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, European integration, and the continuation of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia. During the meeting, views were exchanged on key political processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a particular focus on the need to accelerate reform activities that will enable further progress for Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European path.

Special focus was placed on protecting the constitutional equality of the three constituent peoples, with the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PABiH, Dr Čović, emphasizing the importance of implementing reforms that will ensure the legitimate political representation of the Croat people at all levels of authority, in accordance with the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlić Radman, stressed that the Republic of Croatia remains a strong and consistent partner to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European and Euro-Atlantic path, providing continuous support for reform processes and the strengthening of Bosnia and Herzegovina's institutions.

The meeting confirmed a shared commitment to continuing intensive cooperation and regular political dialogue, aimed at preserving peace, stability, and the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as protecting the rights and interests of the Croat people as a constituent nation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
